Tailgating in Style

Fall brings with it a few things: falling leaves, comfy cardigans and tailgating. When it comes to college ball, tailgating is the ultimate community picnic for football lovers.  Fans of all teams seem to unite over cold beers and grilled meats.

From blankets to banners to beer koozies, this season you can stock up on the supplies that’ll help you pre-game in style. Head to the game early, pop open the trunk and show off your collegiate style.  Don’t forget to don your school sweater and pack your favorite pigskin to toss around.

Happy tailgating, football fans—game on.

Keep warm while tallying touchdowns with a wool blanket in collegiate-inspired plaid. We love this roll-up option that you can wipe-clean and tote with the leather, carrying handle. After a day of use, simply clean the nylon-backed blanket, roll it up, and pop it in the back of your ride.

When it comes to keeping beverages cool, there’s no better bucket than the Yeti Tank 45. It’s able to hold all your fellow fans’ bottles and cans (52 to be exact) or big enough for a pony keg. Grab the lid, too—it makes for the perfect tailgating table, a place to lay your beer or brat down while you throw your hands in the air. Score! The best part? You can deck out your cooler with your school’s logo—even your ice bucket can have spirit.

For the truly committed fans, you can never go too far with your school spirit. Sweaters, hats, face paint are all in the mix, so why not add a huge hand-painted mascot, too? We love this hand-carved Princeton tiger wall hanging. It’s perfect for propping up in the bed of your truck—a true beacon to tailgaters.

If you pack this fully stocked picnic basket, you don’t have to remember much more. It comes equipped with plates, silverware, thermal mugs (perfect for chili), a cutting board, cloth napkins, bottle opener, wine glasses, even an insulated flask. You can either leave it in the trunk or tote the pre-packed picnic suitcase to another spot in the lot.

Serve a round of Bloody Marys and crispy cheese curds in style with this collegiate serving tray.  The wooden handles and retro school logo add a throwback feel to your tailgate—touchdown!
