David Weekley Homes Honors James Hardie with Prestigious Partners of Choice Award

Supplier Feedback Platform ranks James Hardie highest in quality and service

CHICAGO, Ill. (August 3, 2015) – James Hardie Building Products, Inc., the leader in fiber cement siding, today announced it won the nationally-recognized “A,A” Partners of Choice Award for outstanding Quality and Service from David Weekley Homes. This is the ninth year James Hardie has been honored with this award.

David Weekley Homes, the nation’s largest privately-held home builder, utilizes an industry-leading supplier feedback platform to evaluate its partners on quality and service. The heart of this platform is the National Trading Partner Survey. This quarterly survey provides results that are used to impact change, including reducing channel costs and improving customer service with the end goal of achieving the highest level of homeowner satisfaction.

Survey results are combined with other evaluation instruments such as strategy sessions, one-on-one meetings and coaching calls to assist both the homebuilder and their partners in achieving world class excellence. The best of breed companies coming through this rigorous process receive the nationally-acclaimed Partners of Choice Award. Award winners are divided into two categories: “A,A” for excellence in quality and service or “A” for excellence in either category. James Hardie stands out among the 200 participating companies as only one of 15 to achieve the highest possible rating in both quality and service.

“The breadth and depth of our evaluation platform make it impossible to achieve our award without demonstrating world-class performance in managing thousands of transactions throughout the distribution channel annually,” said Bill Justus, vice president of supply chain for David Weekley Homes. “James Hardie has won the Partners of Choice Award for 9 years, which speaks volumes about the functional integrity of the company’s products and their first class service.”

“At James Hardie, we are committed to continuous improvement. The feedback we receive from David Weekley Homes annually helps us continue to adapt to our customers and make sure we’re meeting and exceeding their needs year after year,” said Ryan Sullivan, Executive General Manager of the Southern Division at James Hardie. “We are proud to win the Partners in Choice Award from David Weekley Homes again this year and we look forward to working with David Weekley Homes for many more years to come.”
